Who is MomCo for?
All moms from pregnancy to elementary age and beyond!
Our MomCo group is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded women who are navigating the parenting journey, whether it is infants, preschool or older children.
Whether you’re juggling sports practices, music lessons, or homework, finding time for yourself and forming meaningful connections can be a challenge. What Do We Believe?
We welcome and encourage moms of all backgrounds and beliefs to join our group! Our leadership aligns with and conducts meetings based on an affirmation of the following foundational statement of Christian faith. Please contact us or seek out our leadership team to ask any questions or to learn more.
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting, Amen.
* “Catholic” here is used in its technical sense, meaning “universal” or “true” and does not refer to the Church of Rome, which has come to be referred to as “the Catholic church.”
Why does this group exist?
MomCo is a thriving community of moms who share a common goal: to be the best moms we can be while embracing our own identities as women. We aim to encourage and equip moms in our community to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.
Motherhood is a journey that can be both challenging and fulfilling, but it doesn’t have to be a lonely one. If you’re yearning for fellowship and encouragement along the way, this is the place for you! It’s a supportive environment where you can share experiences, find solace, and receive the love of Jesus Christ and the support of fellow moms.
What do we do?
At our meetings, you’ll have a dedicated table leader who will guide the conversations and help organize activities beyond our regular gatherings. Our mentor moms, with their valuable experience, offer insights during discussions. MomCo provides a range of opportunities for mentoring, teaching, engaging in creative activities, prayer, and more, all aimed at fostering personal growth and spiritual development.
Our meetings consist of:
Community: Meet local moms and cultivate deeper, long-lasting friendships.
Discussion time: We provide opportunities to dig deeper with fellow moms while sharing the joys and frustrations of motherhood.
Encouragement: Through positive mentor relationships with seasoned moms and the women in each discussion group, moms can leave our meetings feeling strengthened and uplifted.
Learning: Video lessons, speakers, and creative activities are offered on a variety of mom-related topics.
Food: Enjoy something tasty to eat during our meetings! Homemade or store-bought, it’s sure to be good.
Childcare is provided for children from ages 6 months to 5 years old (if still in preschool). We are introducing a classroom for homeschooled children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade! The classroom will be led by a Teaching team and consist of various activities such as lesson, craft, snack, movement, and study hall time. Limited spots available, please reach out for information!
Fun: We love to laugh and embrace having lively experiences together.
In addition, we offer:
Extra chances to connect: Gather with new mom friends outside of our meetings during Moms’ Nights Out or play dates to get to know each other better and share life together.
What is childcare like?
We invite you to drop off your pre-registered little ones in childcare by 9:20 to make the most of our meeting time! Rest assured, all our childcare workers undergo thorough background checks and genuinely adore children. Depending on their age, your little ones will engage in Bible stories, learn joyful Bible songs, enjoy playtime, and have an allergy-friendly snack. Our dedicated childcare team eagerly looks forward to welcoming and caring for your kids at each meeting!
How do I sign up?
Spring Semester registration opens in November. Registration is required so we can assure the correct ratio of childcare workers to kids. Email us for more info.
