Class Description
Join us as we study a patriarch of the Christian faith. Jacob paints a picture of God’s people who waver between trusting God and taking matters into their own hands. Jacob’s story is one of deception, family conflict, faithfulness, and blessing, and marks the beginning of the nation called Israel. It serves as a reminder that despite our hasty plans and utter failures, the God of Jacob is faithful to his people and his promises.
Two Group Opportunities
Monday night 7-9pm with Kim Edwards.
Tuesday morning Bible study, 10am – noon with Beckie Childress and Diane Hidey – no childcare provided, but babies are welcome.
This study involves daily homework and a weekly class discussion.
Cost
Study books available for $10 (online payment or pay cash or use a check)
Registration table in the lobby 1/11, 1/18, 1/25.
Summer in the Word
Join us this summer for an 8 week Bible study with lots of options. Morning groups, evening groups, zoom groups, etc.
Registration will open in late May 2026.
